Marking her debut Spanish-language release, the track is infused with the spirit of Michellar’s Latin and Filipino heritage. Inspired by childhood memories of her parents singing “Bésame Mucho,” she channels that nostalgic emotion into a delicate and soulful ballad. Produced by Lloyd Miller at Spirit Song Studios in Austin, and recorded at the Women’s Audio Mission in San Francisco, the song wraps romantic longing in a soft Latin sway.
Vocalist Jiji Picazo lends a stirring performance, her voice complementing Michellar’s lyrical tone with clarity and intimacy. The collaborative process between the two—translating the original English lyrics into Spanish—adds a layer of authenticity that resonates throughout the track.
